GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the Automotive department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
- Serve as a Lab Technician for the Automotive Technology department
- Develop, revise, maintain current inventory of equipment, tools and materials
- Set up lab activities and help deliver an exceptional hands-on lab experience; maintain order and discipline; helps to test and evaluate student progress in the lab.
- Assist instructors and department head in developing lab activities that help meet course objectives and improve overall student performance.
- Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma
- Excellent communication and human relation skills
- Ability to challenge and motivate
- Must be well organized, fair and unbiased
- Must be capable of maintaining an atmosphere that fosters learning
- Must possess a valid South Carolina driver's license
- Ability to lift 50-100 pounds
- Must be self-motivated to start and complete tasks
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Associate degree in Automotive Technology • Three (3) years of work experience in the automotive field • ASE certifications
