General Responsibilities
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the CCE - Corp and Continuing Edu department at Greenville Technical College.
This position is responsible for logistics of classroom, materials, setup and break-down of classroom equipment for students and instructors for the high volume for work that is involved within the Environmental/Occupational Health/ Safety department. Purchase books and other course materials as needed and the ability to forecast upcoming class needs. Will utilize a Credit card and online system(s) for purchasing for conferences, books, office supplies etc. Will also create department billing invoices for submission. Responsible for pre and post notifications and close out student files for course state and federal obligations according to regulations. This role will be critical to understanding reporting, student management and departmental function within the continuing education department's database. The selected candidate must have the ability to forecast department needs and take care of daily functions that make a department run effectively and efficiency without much supervision. This role will coordinate instructor and student needs while supporting the department with daily tasks. Must be able to meet deadlines and be self-sufficient.
Must pay attention to detail, understand prioritizations, planning, accuracy of records and reports, as well as ability to balance multi-projects at a time. May be asked to provide administrative backup to other departments during peak times or staff shortages. Manage calendars for events, coordinate meetings and student training times as requested.

Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree in a related field plus three (3) years relevant experience in business management, administration, or administrative services.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree with 3 years' experience of administrative experience working in a high volume, multi-tasked environment supporting up to four staff. Strong communication, organizational, clerical skills and Microsoft Suite. Experience in Modern Campus. Proficiency with Microsoft 365, ZOOM and Teams and (other collaborative platforms) experience is critical. Experience using computer, printing /scanning equipment, and campus information systems. Problem solving, collaboration, initiative, time management and adaptability skills are necessary.
