Job Overview
The Greenville Area School District is accepting Applications for a Full-Time Second Shift Custodian. The hours for this position are 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm Monday thru Friday with some weekend overtime for event required. Compensation is $14.25 per hour and includes health and retirement benefits.
The successful candidate must possess the physical capability to move furniture, operate scrubbers, buffers and carpet cleaning equipment. Individuals should also be detail oriented, able to manage time wisely and follow instruction regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
Daily duties will include, but are not limited to, sweeping and mopping floors, emptying wastebaskets and disinfecting classrooms, restrooms and furniture. Individuals will also assist with the set up and breakdown of the facilities for meetings and events. The ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders is required.
