We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our on-site team in Tacoma, WA. This full-time role entails managing and supporting key HR functions, including employee relations, HR policy implementation, and benefits administration. The HR Generalist will collaborate with leadership and employees to ensure compliance with company policies, administer employee benefits programs, and respond to staff inquiries effectively. Additionally, the Generalist will be responsible for various HR projects, conducting onboarding and orientation sessions, maintaining personnel records, and ensuring adherence to relevant employment laws.
- Experience with Human Resources (HR) and HR Management practices
- Knowledge of HR Policies, compliance procedures, and employee relations
- Strong skills in Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency with HR software and systems
- Certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are a plus
- Familiarity with Washington State labor laws is highly desirable
