Role Description
GreenTree Hospitality Group looking for a Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing with hospitality experience to drive revenue growth by capturing corporate, group, and LNR (Local Negotiated Rate) business across key markets. This position will directly oversee sales and marketing efforts for a portfolio of five GreenTree hotels in the West/Southwest Region. Additionally, they will support GreenTree franchised hotels with sales, marketing, system and connectivity needs.
Role Description
- Act as the face of GreenTree in your region — building and nurturing relationships with new and existing clients through proactive sales calls, networking, and referrals.
- Travel locally and regionally as necessary to conduct outside sales, attend trade shows and deliver presentations to promote hotels and develop new business.
- Work a variety of market segments while creatively positioning hotel features and benefits, operations and competitive strengths and weaknesses to assist customers in their buying decisions.
- Identify new business that fits sales parameters by using a wide variety of means/tools and individual creativity and innovation
- Conduct competitor analysis and identify market trends.
- Develop targeted sales and marketing plans that drive revenue and increase market share.
- Work with General Managers and corporate office to ensure pricing and revenue strategies are aligned with market in order to maximize revenue.
- Maintain accurate information in sales management tool (STS) on all new and ongoing leads and accounts, including solicitation efforts and all activities are complete and documented.
- Work with General Managers to ensure clients’ needs are executed perfectly to build lasting relationships and opportunities
- Drive Sales/Revenue and profitability while providing guidance and support to the hotel team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Director of Sales at a 100 room property
- Knowledge of local competition and industry trends
- Strong leadership and a polished, professional presence.
- Excellent decision making ability and analytical skills
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office suite, outlook, and other hotel-related systems
- Be able to multi-task various job duties daily
- Ability to travel and work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience
