Machine Operator

Greentech Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate for a Hydraulic Press Brake or Laser Machine Operator.

Greentech Manufacturing, Inc. manufactures Crown Royal Stoves, a line of outdoor furnaces and automated biomass boilers that are used to heat homes and businesses. We also provide a full line of plumbing and heating products.

Hydraulic Press Brake Operators produce parts from metal using a hydraulic press brake, a computer numeric controlled (CNC) piece of equipment that makes precision bends into material.

Flat Sheet Laser Operators use computer-controlled lasers to cut patterns and/or parts from sheet and plate products producing parts from raw material in accordance with job-specific work orders and internal and external specifications.

Machine Operator Job Duties:

• Must be able to read and understand blueprints or plans for the finished product.

• Work in a fast-paced environment with fast-changing priorities while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

• Provide a high level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.

• Stage material, load and unload machines.

• Assist team members as required.

• Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually or using overhead cranes and forklifts.

• Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures.

• Monitor assist and resonator gas levels and change gas bottles as required.

• Perform minor maintenance, cleaning of cutting equipment and daily dust collector service in accordance with company standards and manufactures machine recommendations.

• Use computers as required.

• Use precision measuring tools as required.

• Make adjustments to produce formed or laser cut parts that match the blueprints.

• Verify the machine is set up properly, working well, and producing quality product.

• Make sure the machine is working at full capacity, stocked with needed materials, well maintained, and perform periodic checks on output and quality.

• Inspect finished product to ensure it is defect free and ready for the next step in production.

• Operate various power tools and production equipment.

Required Skills: Excellent Math and Decimal Reading, Problem Solving, Attention to Detail & Quality, Mechanical and Technical Skills who understand CAD/CAM Software, Computer Literate, Blueprint reading, Strong Communication Skills, Tape Measure Reading, Time Management, Organizational Skills, Ability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, and reach overhead; Ability to stand/walk for 12 hours per day; Heavy Lifting.

Education: High School Diploma or Ged; 12 months previous experience in a similar industry or trade.

• Adjust the Machine to Produce Formed Parts that Match the Blueprints.

• Verify the machine is set up properly, working well, and producing quality product.

• Make sure the machine is working at full capacity, stocked with needed materials, well maintained, and perform periodic checks on output and quality.

• Inpect finished product to ensure it is defect free and ready for the next step in production.

• Operate various power tools and production equipment.

• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
