GreenStone is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Agribusiness Lending to lead and expand our agribusiness lending opportunities. This role serves as a strategic knowledge leader in agribusiness sales, marketing, and credit, while staying ahead of trends in agricultural technology. The VP will manage complex customer relationships, provide expert financial solutions, and maintain GreenStone’s reputation as an industry leader. The portfolio consists of primarily protein operations (Swine/Turkey) along with some Agribusiness located in SW and West MI.

Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, delivering value-added insights and solutions.
- Cultivate a respected presence in the marketplace as an industry leader.
- Manage a portfolio of some of GreenStone’s largest and most complex agribusiness customers.
- Gather financial information, identify customer needs, and provide innovative solutions.
- Maintain deep expertise in agribusiness markets and GreenStone’s territory.
- Stay current on finance, macroeconomics, and competitive products/services.
- Monitor emerging technologies and business practices to deliver exceptional value.
- Provide credit expertise and ensure risk is managed effectively.
- Represent GreenStone through active involvement in local, regional, and national agricultural organizations.
- Deliver presentations and thought leadership to industry groups.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- In lieu of a degree, 5 years of relevant agribusiness/farming sales experience will be considered.
- Minimum 5 years in agribusiness, agricultural credit, or related field required.
- 8 years of large/specialized agribusiness lending experience preferred.
- Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills.
- Deep understanding of agribusiness operations and financial solutions.
- Ability to navigate complex credit structures and regulatory requirements.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and industry leadership.
Salary : $15 - $400
