What are the responsibilities and job description for the Locum NP/PA - Neuro Trauma Critical Care position at Greenstaff Medical?
We are hiring a Neuro Trauma Critical Care Provider for an ongoing locum assignment in Shasta County, CA!
Job details:
- Coverage: ASAP – ongoing
- Neurosurgery/Trauma ICU management of emergency surgery patients that are brain, neck, and spine surgeries. NP/PA with neuro-trauma and/or neuro-critical care background/experience
- Schedule: 10 hour day shift, no call 7a-5p
- Required Procedures: Low/moderate risk procedures such as laceration repair, IV access/IV insertion-peripheral line, fracture and dislocation reductions (minimal/moderate displacement). High risk procedures: G-tube placement, endotracheal intubation, cardioversion/defibrillation, LMA, paracentesis, chest tubes, central and arterial line placement.
- EMR: Cerner Care B
Job Requirements:
- Board Certified ( ANCC, AANP or NCCPA) - REQUIRED
- Active CA license – REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice – REQUIRED
- ACLS & DEA – REQUIRED
- Must be on active staff at a TJC accredited facility with unrestricted privileges (NOT just working as a locums with privileges) - REQUIRED
