Shift: Nights, 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Years of Experience Required: 1 Year
Certifications Required: BLS
Preferred Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS & Chemotherapy Certification

Job Description: Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry setting, following established procedures and clinical protocols to ensure safe, effective patient treatment. Performs patient assessments, monitors cardiac rhythms, interprets dysrhythmias, administers medications, and manages IV therapy and vascular access. Cares for patients with a variety of medical, surgical, neurological, and cardiac conditions while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and patient monitoring skills to promote optimal patient outcomes. Must have at least one year of acute-care Medical-Surgical experience, Telemetry experience, and the ability to float to other units as required.
