The Investment Associate will work in conjunction with Advisors and Associates to manage/trade client portfolios, perform research on behalf of the Investment Committee analyze client and prospect portfolios, and develop internal investment content. The candidate will be servicing all clients of the firm.
Responsibilities

- Maintain high standards for serving both clients and advisors
- Monitor centralized portfolios and recommend trades when needed to maintain alignment with target allocations, cash needs, or rebalancing thresholds.
- Execute trades, assign model portfolios, and manage rebalancing activity using our portfolio management system (Tamarac).
- Analyze portfolios, contribute to investment research efforts, and draft notes related to fund reviews and the firm’s watchlist.
- Act as a subject matter expert on our portfolio management system (Tamarac), helping to ensure efficient and accurate portfolio management while supporting advisor and client needs.
- Contribute to trade-related projects aimed at improving trading and rebalancing workflows, including automation initiatives and process enhancements.
- Participate in the firm’s Investment Committee.
- Reconcile, update, and maintain data across rebalancing, aggregation, and portfolio management systems.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and best practices across all trading and portfolio management activities.
- Provide backup support for broader investment team functions, including performance reporting, billing, and account onboarding.

Industry/Business Experience
At least 4 years of experience in trading, portfolio management/operations, or a related investment operations role within the financial services industry.
Education
College degree in Finance, Investments, or Business, or comparable experience.

Requirements/Additional Information
- Starting base salary range: $60,000-$100,000, with the opportunity to earn a discretionary annual bonus up to 10% of earnings.
- Within 2-3 years, the Investment Operations Associate will be encouraged to obtain an advanced investment designation
- This individual will report to the Director of Investments
- The first 90 days will include an extensive onboarding/training program.
- After the first 90 days and with the manager’s approval, the candidate may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement - allowing a specified number of Work From Home Days per month in accordance with the firm's policy.
