What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst - Procurement position at Greenskies Clean Energy?
Location: North Haven, CT (hybrid - 4 days in the office, 1 day remote)
Job Summary: Greenskies is looking for a Data Analyst to support the Procurement function. This role is responsible for all data maintenance and internal reporting related to Procurement. The successful candidate will thrive in a team setting and will interact with project management, project funding, construction, engineering, and external vendors. The Procurement Analyst reports directly to the Director of Procurement.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Utilize ERP/SAP to monitor on-hand inventory as well as material movements to and from projects to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with IT to build standard reporting templates and processes
- Facilitate monthly inventory reviews with multiple 3PL warehouses
- Create ad-hoc reports using data from multiple data sources
- Support the Procurement Buyers or Logistics Specialists with material assignments and movements in SAP
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years related experience in data analytics
- Prior experience in procurement and/or logistics is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or equivalent analytics experience preferred
- Must have ERP experience, SAP ERP preferred
- Expert in Microsoft Excel, with experience leveraging macros and pivot tables
- Experience writing complex SQL Queries
- Well organized, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Experience in business intelligence and data visualization tools such as PowerBI, SAP Business Objects / Crystal Reporting, or Tableau
- Ability to analyze data sets, and extract meaningful insights to inform decision making
- Ability to clearly explain identified trends in data and their implications to non-technical audiences

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
