What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Construction Laborer position at Greenscape, Inc.?
Position Description:
The Team member is an hourly position who performs labor intensive work, which can include operation of equipment, vehicles, hand tools, moving of materials. The crew member reports and takes direction from the foreman/associate foreman
Qualifications:
- Able to perform landscaping duties: Install Trees, Shrubs, Sod, Irrigation Installation, Pavers, Retaining Walls, Concrete, etc
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds with proper lifting techniques and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Valid NC driver’s license with 3 years of safe driving experience preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Reports to work on time and ready for work
- Works well with team in a respectful manner
- Assists in properly loading tools and equipment as directed
- Maintains a neat and safe work site
- Maintains equipment and vehicles, removes debris dirt, and materials from cab and bed.
- Digging, planting, raking, watering and clean up of landscapes
- Install plantings and lawns
- Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks
- Ability to operate a Skid Steer and misc equipment
