Your Purpose

The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting daily human resources operations for the warehouse. This position is responsible for managing documentation, maintaining HR records, coordinating events, and serving as the first point of contact for associates to ensure smooth and efficient HR processes.

What You’ll Do

Elevate Performance & Accountability

  • Assist with all HR functions at the distribution center including, but not limited to Recruiting/Staffing, Payroll and associate recognition
  • Scheduling of new candidates with management for interviews
  • Process and file onboarding, payroll and personnel documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Uploads all required information for incentive files for processing
  • Responsible for posting internal Warehouse positions, to include sorting candidate information by eligibility and recaps reports to warehouse managers to begin the selection process
  • Maintains all associate communication boards 
  • Preps documents for indexing and scanning into FileNet
  • Monitor and track training completions, attendance points and other key HR data metrics
  • Assist with planning and executing HR related events, such as job fairs, associate appreciation days and training sessions
  • Serve as a first point of contact for associate questions, providing guidance or directing them to the appropriate resources
  • Maintain timekeeping records, manage badge access, requests and perform HR system updates.

Support Learning & Development

  • Collaborating with warehouse leadership on what areas could aid in improvement of the department and elevating associates to the next level
  • Facilitates leadership development workshops 
  • Attends workshops to enhance knowledge of employment practices, laws, associate relations, and other Human Resource competencies
  • Reviews internal associate concerns/surveys on a consistent basis analyzing for revisions or new direction as needed for improving associate experiences and training
  • Facilitates onboarding for DLTs and LDPs 
  • Passion for people, curiosity, empathy, courage, and the belief that great cultures are built one experience at a time

Lead Associate Relations with Heart & Integrity

  • Provides outstanding service to internal and external customers, grounded in our guiding principles
  • May be appointed as leader or participant in special projects, assignments and/or duties as requested

Champion Culture & Engagement

  • Assists in the development of and advocates for company culture
  • Lead and promote associate engagement activities, such as appreciation events, team building , initiatives and wellness programs
  • Partner with leaders to implement recognition programs that celebrate performance, attendance and milestones
  • Facilitate regular feedback opportunities, including surveys and open forums, to capture associate input
  • Promote communication channels that keep associates informed and connected with company goals and initiatives

Drive HR Excellence

  • Involved in essential meetings within the warehouse
  • Ensures adherence to company policies and employment law
  • Performs special assignments and projects in a thorough and timely manner

What You Bring

  • High School diploma or equivalent.  
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Physical Demands

Physical demands include, but are not limited to, high aptitude for standing and walking endurance, sitting while driving to various stores, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds, pushing and pulling climbing ladders of various types, bending, squatting, and kneeling, and working in different temperatures inside and outside the store.
