Receptionist – Nursing Home
Location: Greens at Weaverville, Weaverville, NC
Job Type: Full-time, Monday thru Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
Job Summary:
Greens at Weaverville is seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and a compassionate attitude.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist residents, visitors, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner.
Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information as needed.
Maintain visitor logs and ensure security protocols are followed.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments.
Handle mail distribution and incoming deliveries.
Keep the reception area clean and organized.
Support other departments with clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
