Position Purpose
The DevOps Administrator plays a critical role in supporting GreenPath’s software delivery lifecycle by maintaining and continuously improving DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes used by engineering teams building cloud‑native applications.
This role focuses on enabling developers through reliable automation, managing build and release infrastructure, and administering Azure DevOps. The DevOps Administrator also strengthens observability and operational readiness by helping implement and maintain monitoring and alerting capabilities, including Datadog dashboards and integrations.
This position sits within the DevOps and CloudOps branch of IT Operations and is primarily accountable for DevOps support and ongoing development enablement.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support Azure DevOps, including repos, pipelines, permissions, and service connections
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and manage self‑hosted/cloud build agents for stability and scalability
- Troubleshoot pipeline and deployment issues, partnering with developers for fast resolution
- Support containerized workflows and platforms (AKS), ensuring seamless deployment and operational integration
- Maintain observability tooling (e.g., Datadog), including dashboards, alerts, and log/metric pipelines
- Assist in supporting cloud‑native services (Elasticsearch, Kafka) with a focus on deployment and monitoring
- Implement DevOps security practices, including access control, secret management, auditing, and certificate renewals
- Create and maintain technical documentation and participate in incident root cause analysis to improve reliability
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of DevOps experience supporting application delivery and development enablement
- 1 years hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps (repositories, pipelines, service connections)
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and managing build/release agents
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS), Elasticsearch, and Kafka
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog
- Understanding of DevOps‑related security, monitoring, and access control practices
- Knowledge of certificate lifecycle management concepts
- Linux skills and strong troubleshooting capability preferred

Working Conditions
This position is remote/Hybrid and involves sedentary, computer‑based work for extended periods. Occasional in‑person meetings may be required on an infrequent basis. Limited after‑hours work may be needed to support production releases or high‑impact incidents.
