Compensation: $90,000-$110,000

GreenMark is seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Training and Technical Manager to lead, support, and develop our company-wide training initiatives across all departments. This role will play a critical part in maintaining GreenMark's high standards in technical excellence, onboarding, OEM training compliance, and professional development across service, parts, and sales.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with multiple stakeholders—including OEM partners, department heads, and HR—to deliver impactful training programs and oversee technical training infrastructure, systems, and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and manages the annual John Deere training calendar in collaboration with Service, Parts, and Sales Managers, aligning with individual career plans.
• Creates and develops in-company training materials across all departments.
• Identifies tools and training resources needed for enhanced efficiency and safety, specifically in relation to tooling and technician preparedness.
• Supports Service, Parts, VP of Aftermarket, and Regional Aftermarket Managers (RAMs) to identify skills gaps and training needs.
• Works with OEM partners to meet GreenMark’s training requirements.
• Manages administration and functionality of OEM Learning Centers and internal training spaces.
• Oversees full implementation of a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Assists the Student Tech Program in partnership with local schools and HR, ensuring staffing and support requirements are met.
• Supports recruiting events to promote career opportunities within GreenMark.
• Ensures all technicians have documented training plans and all employees meet prerequisites prior to attending instructor-led training.
• Partners with IT to address technical training software and system issues and needs (e.g., software tools, laptops, diagnostics platforms).
• Provides continuous support to Technical Development Trainers across all GreenMark branches.

• Leads onboarding training programs for new employees at all branch locations.

• Responsible for achievement of all John Deere training metrics.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Management or Education or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years’ experience in technical training and development role within an equipment-focused environment.
• Experience delivering training in multiple formats: classroom, virtual, e-learning, and blended learning.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
• Ability to create training materials, i.e., manuals, presentations, and videos.
• Ability to assess training needs and adapt content to different learning styles.
• Strong presentation, public speaking, and facilitation skills.
• Familiarity with OEM training standards (preferably John Deere).
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with HR, IT, Service, Parts, and Sales.
