Are you a skilled IT professional ready to take your support expertise to the next level? We are seeking an IT Support Specialist (Tier 2) to join our dynamic team. This key position will provide advanced technical guidance, exceptional end-user support, and help build a foundation of clear, accessible IT documentation for all levels.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver second-tier technical support to end users, resolving a wide range of hardware, software, and networking issues efficiently.
• Respond to and resolve escalated incidents from Tier 1 helpdesk, including troubleshooting, and documentation creation for Tier 1 processes and procedures.
• Support the administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Diagnose and resolve networking issues (wired and wireless), and assist in configuring switches, routers, firewalls and access points.
• Create clear, step-by-step documentation and user guides tailored for IT professionals and end users.
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in Tier 1 and 2 helpdesk support and end-user troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and practical experience with network devices.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory administration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 environment and user support.
• Experience in Windows and Mac OS User Environments
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics into easy-to-understand language.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the drive to find effective, lasting solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to produce thorough and accessible documentation for IT processes.
• Live in the San Diego area
• Have a reliable mode of transportation
• Excellent in person and remote customer service skills
