Role Description This full-time Loan Officer role is a hybrid position based in Cleveland, OH, with a mix of in-office and work-from-home flexibility. The Loan Officer will consult with prospective and current clients to understand their financial goals, explain mortgage products, and guide them through the loan application process. Responsibilities include originating mortgage loans, collecting and reviewing documentation, coordinating with underwriting and processing teams, and ensuring loans meet regulatory and company standards. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, managing a pipeline of applications, and providing timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders. Loan Officers are expected to build and maintain referral relationships, uphold high ethical standards, and deliver a consistently positive client ex

Training is availible if new to the industry. Must complete NMLS training and licensing requirements as part if the training.
- Experience as a Loan Officer, with a strong understanding of mortgage products and lending processes.
- Solid foundation in Finance and related financial analysis, including debt-to-income evaluation and credit review.
- Knowledge of Underwriting principles and ability to collaborate effectively with underwriting teams.
- Proven Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and client support throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Demonstrated success in Loan Origination, from prospecting and qualification through closing.
- Relevant state mortgage licensing (or eligibility to obtain), and familiarity with applicable regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with digital tools, loan origination systems, and online application platforms.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to equitable, non-discriminatory lending practices.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered in sales or client facing customer service jobs.
