Key Responsibilities
- Drive Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead, mentor, and develop multiple field crews, improving productivity, accountability, and retention
- Build a culture of ownership, professionalism, and continuous improvement across all teams
- Own Project Management & Execution
- Deliver landscape maintenance and enhancement projects on time and within scope through strong planning and coordination
- Optimize labor, materials, and scheduling to maximize operational efficiency and profitability
- Ensure 100% Safety Compliance
- Enforce all safety protocols and achieve full compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Proactively identify and mitigate job site risks to protect team members and clients
- Oversee On-Site Operations
- Maintain consistent, high-quality execution across all properties through routine inspections and real-time problem solving
- Resolve field challenges quickly while maintaining production timelines and quality standards
- Elevate Quality & Client Satisfaction
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds company and client expectations
- Act as a key liaison between crews, management, and clients to maintain strong relationships and clear communication
- Develop Systems & Train Future Leaders
- Train and mentor supervisors and crew leaders to strengthen internal leadership pipeline
- Standardize processes and implement best practices to improve long-term operational performance
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in landscape maintenance, construction, or landscape operations, with proven success in a leadership role
- Demonstrated expertise in project management, team leadership, and on-site operations
- Strong working knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, landscape enhancements, and basic construction practices
- Proven ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards
- Track record of enforcing safety compliance and improving team performance
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead from the front while thinking strategically at a high level
