More senior candidates will take on broader ownership of projects, client relationships, and strategic direction. Greenline matches title and responsibilities to demonstrated capabilities, not just years of experience. During the hiring process, we assess analytical depth, client leadership, communication strength, and ability to manage complex projects and portfolios of work. Candidates may be considered for Manager, Senior Manager, or Director levels depending on fit.Minimum Qualifications5 to 7 years of professional experience in climate policy, clean energy, economics, energy modeling, research consulting, or related fields. Advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) may substitute for a limited number of years of experience, depending on relevance to the role.Ability to perform complex analytical work and communicate findings clearlyExperience managing workflows or contributing to multi-step research or modeling projectsStrong written and verbal communication skillsComfort working in a nimble, collaborative, high-standards environmentFamiliarity with economic or energy modeling tools (e.g., IMPLAN, REMI, EPS, NEMS, ReEDS, LEAP, PLEXOS, Aurora, MARKAL/TIMES, GCAM, etc.)Additional Qualifications for Director-Level ConsiderationDirector-level team members own full client relationships, lead strategic engagements, and help shape organizational growth.
