Machine Operator / Inspector – Multiple Shifts Available
Schedule Options
- Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Monday–Thursday: 4:00 PM–12:00 AM
- Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Prepare materials and customer parts for processing.
- Load and unload furnaces, bins, fixtures, baskets, and related equipment.
- Inspect and handle customer inventory carefully to prevent loss or damage.
- Report unusual conditions, equipment issues, or processing irregularities to the supervisor.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Follow established safety procedures and work instructions.
- Perform additional production or inspection duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous machine operation, manufacturing, heat-treating, or inspection experience preferred.
- Basic working knowledge of metallurgy, temperatures, or heat-treatment processes is preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and ability to report to work on time.
- Ability to work effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
- Must be willing to work overtime or alternate shifts, including weekends, when required.
I’d probably advertise this as Machine Operator / Inspector rather than “Machine Operator & Inspectors.” It reads cleaner and also works if you’re hiring multiple people.
