The role

You’ll lead people and the client experience. You’ll be on the floor, close to the team and to families, setting the tone for every shift. With real support to handle the routine administrative work, your time goes where it matters most: Your team, the clients and patient-care.

What you’ll do

• Be a visible, hands-on leader on the floor, supporting technicians, front desk staff, and doctors, especially during peak hours and critical cases.
• Build a culture of teamwork, accountability, respect, and calm under pressure.
• Develop your team through 1:1s, coaching, and recognition.
• Own the client experience from arrival to discharge, and personally handle escalations with empathy.
• Turn client feedback into concrete improvements with your team.
• Support HR in hiring and lead each new hire’s onboarding at the hospital.
• Support payroll by reviewing and approving timecards.
• Approve schedules and coverage, and hold standards for cleanliness, readiness, and compliance.
• Partner with the Medical Director on clinical operations and with Finance on hospital results.

What you bring

• [3 ] years leading teams in a veterinary, healthcare, or high-tempo service operation.
• Proven people leadership: you develop people and hold standards without drama.
• A service mindset toward both clients and staff.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Comfort with KPIs and basic P&L literacy.
• The ability to thrive in a 24/7 environment.

Nice to have

• Veterinary or ER experience.
• Multi-site or new-hospital opening experience.
• Bilingual (English/Portuguese/Spanish).
