What You’ll Do
As a Marketing Intern, you’ll support both our community engagement and customer acquisition efforts. You’ll work closely with our marketing team while gaining exposure to multiple facets of marketing.
About the Organization Greenlight Networks is an ultra-high-speed, broadband service provider, offering residential and small business customers Internet speeds of up to 8 Gigabits per second. Greenlight Networks was founded in 2011 and builds, owns, and operates a fiber-optic network that provides extremely high-speed Internet connections. The company's high-speed fiber internet network is currently available to more than 225,000 homes and nearly 10,000 small businesses in 35 municipalities in the Albany, Binghamton, Buffalo, Rochester, and Hudson Valley regions of New York, with construction underway in Northeast and South-Central Pennsylvania and across the City of Baltimore.

What You’ll Do
As a Marketing Intern, you’ll support both our community engagement and customer acquisition efforts. You’ll work closely with our marketing team while gaining exposure to multiple facets of marketing.
- Community Engagement & Events
- Represent Greenlight at local events, festivals, and community activations
- Engage directly with residents to promote Greenlight services and answer basic questions
- Help set up, manage, and break down event activations
- Grassroots Marketing & Outreach
- Assist in executing neighborhood marketing efforts including door hangers, yard signs, and local collateral distribution
- Use marketing data to help identify target areas for outreach
- Support field marketing initiatives to drive awareness and customer sign-ups
- Content & Digital Marketing
- Write and contribute content for social media channels
- Help identify and research new marketing channels and opportunities
- Support execution of campaigns across email, direct mail, and social media
- Campaign & Team Support
- Assist with marketing campaign coordination and execution
- Provide administrative and organizational support to the marketing team as needed
- Real-world marketing experience across multiple channels
- Exposure to grassroots, digital, and campaign marketing strategies
- Hands-on experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment

- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you’re comfortable talking to new people

- Interest in marketing, community engagement, and brand building
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends for events
- Reliable transportation
