Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our dynamic research and development team. Duties
- Prepare and execute laboratory experiments following established protocols and safety guidelines, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility of results
- Perform routine quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to verify compliance with regulatory standards
- Maintain detailed records of all laboratory activities, data collection, and experimental outcomes using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
- Support microbiological testing, histological analysis, molecular biology procedures, and other specialized techniques as required for research projects
- Ensure laboratory equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and cleaned to uphold optimal performance
- Assist in the development and validation of new laboratory procedures and techniques aligned with research & development goals
- Comply with all GLP, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), FDA regulations, and safety protocols to ensure a compliant working environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in an industrial or clinical laboratory setting with a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques
- Knowledge of GLP, CGMP, FDA regulations, and quality control standards within a regulated environment
- Hands-on experience with microbiology, histology, molecular biology methods, and veterinary or animal physiology terminology
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry and management
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets accurately
- Excellent attention to detail combined with organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations in experiments
- Effective communication skills to document findings clearly and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
