A roof tear off crew is responsible for removing old or damaged roofing materials from a building before new materials are installed. General requirements for this job might include:
Preparing the work site: Before starting the roof tear off, the crew will need to prepare the work area by setting up safety equipment, such as ladders, scaffolding, and safety harnesses. They will be responsible for removing all old or damaged roofing materials from the roof.
Cleaning up debris: Once the old roofing materials have been removed, the crew will need to clean up any debris that has fallen onto the ground or surrounding areas. This may involve using a broom or a vacuum to remove small pieces of debris or using a truck to haul away larger pieces.
