Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Remodeler to join our construction team. The Remodeler will be responsible for transforming existing spaces through comprehensive renovation and remodeling projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a versatile professional capable of managing various aspects of remodeling, from framing and carpentry to finishing touches, with a focus on delivering exceptional results that meet client specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction techniques, blueprint reading, and the use of both hand and power tools, contributing to the successful completion of diverse renovation projects.

Duties

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute remodeling plans.
• Perform framing, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and concrete forming as required.
• Install doors, cabinets, trim carpentry, flooring, tile, and glass with precision.
• Conduct plumbing and electrical work in compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
• Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to facilitate demolition, construction, and finishing tasks.
• Manage construction site activities efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Apply caulking, perform masonry work, concrete finishing, and hardscape installation to enhance project quality.
• Execute roofing repairs or installations as needed for project completion.
• Conduct construction inspections to ensure adherence to codes and quality standards.
• Fabricate custom components through welding or other fabrication techniques when necessary.
• Assist in restoration projects by evaluating existing structures and implementing appropriate renovation strategies.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work progress and communicate effectively with team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience in remodeling or general construction with a strong understanding of construction management principles.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring, roofing techniques, masonry, stucco application, and concrete finishing.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam software for digital plan review and markup is preferred.
• Ability to read technical schematics and schematics related to electrical or plumbing systems.
• Strong skills in carpentry including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and glass installation.
• Experience in restoration work or hardscape projects is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety compliance.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members across diverse projects.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation; ability to operate heavy machinery is a plus. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.83 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
