Artistic Packaging Specialist (Part Time or Full Time)

Greenleaf & Blueberry is small online retailer, specializing in premium art supplies for the serious watercolorist. Our products have been pictured in Victoria Magazine, Alpinist Magazine, UPPERCASE, The New York Times, and more.
Role:
- We are looking for a Artistic Packaging Specialist to join a friendly and professional team of craftspeople to beautifully package our products, paint our color charts, assemble custom orders for our amazing customers and answer their related questions via email, prepare inventory, place orders, among other related tasks.
- This is a craftsperson position, requiring artistic and fine motor skills and the ability to balance quality standards with a production schedule.
- This is a perfect job for artistic, hard working, detail-oriented people who have experience with watercolor painting, love the world of fine art supplies, enjoy working with their hands, and are looking for flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, wrap, and label small watercolor pans
- Carefully and beautiful paint watercolor swatches on color charts and pan wrappers.
- Assemble kits and watercolor palettes attractively and accurately.
- Accurately re-stock products on shelves and/or bins.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and correctly enter inventory data correctly.
- Communicate with customers when necessary regarding custom orders and professionally answer general questions.
- Keep painting, labeling, and assembly areas stocked, organized, and ready for action.
- Perform all tasks in a prompt and timely manner, while meeting quality standards and staying on top of production schedule.
- Create orders and perform all paperwork tasks with accuracy.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand for an entire shift and/or sit for an entire shift.
- Strong attention to detail.
- At least intermediate level experience painting in watercolors.
- Basic computer skills, proficiency with Apple computers.
- Ability to climb flights of stairs and lift boxes of 20lbs. (We are located on the second floor of a historical building and need supplies carried upstairs from time to time).

Hours & Pay:
- We are open Monday-Thursday from 8am to 5pm and closed Friday-Sunday. Work shifts can be created within those working windows, based on availability and workspace flow.
- Schedule Requirements:
-Must work a minimum of 16 hours per workweek. Must be punctual and communicative.
- Compensation:
-Starting rate of $16.00/hour
-Raises based on performance.
