Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers
- Handle chemical agents safely for cleaning and sanitation purposes, adhering strictly to safety protocols and handling procedures
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices to move furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, light fixtures, and other surfaces to uphold high standards of sanitation and appearance
- Restock supplies including paper products, cleaning agents, and other custodial materials to ensure operational efficiency
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting to support overall building upkeep
- Follow safety guidelines consistently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Requirements
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools effectively
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude when interacting with staff or visitors
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
