As the Financial Analyst III/Sr. Financial Analyst you will support a growing custom manufacturing business by driving strategic financial analysis, operational forecasting, manufacturing cost accounting, and business performance insights within a fast-paced commercial HVAC environment.

What You'll Do
- Lead monthly financial close, variance analysis, and executive reporting for CAHU operations
- Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives
- Manage manufacturing cost accounting across labor, materials, inventory, and WIP
- Identify cost and margin variances, uncover root causes, and drive corrective actions
- Partner with sales, engineering, and operations to support pricing and profitability decisions
- Build financial models, dashboards, and SAP reporting tools that improve decision-making
- Evaluate capital investments through ROI analysis and post-project financial audits
- Deliver actionable insights on operational performance, profitability, and manufacturing efficiency
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required
- 4-6 years of experience in operations finance, manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or FP&A within a manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting engineered-to-order, industrial manufacturing, or custom product operations preferred
- Experience in commercial HVAC, industrial manufacturing, or engineered products
- Knowledge of capital investment analysis and operational performance metrics
- Experience working in a Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environment
- SAP ERP experience preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience with financial reporting tools, dashboards, and operational analytics
- Manufacturing cost accounting and variance analysis
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Inventory accounting and work-in-process (WIP) analysis
- Financial modeling and profitability analysis
