Location: Chester, SC – Highway Patrol Troop 4 Post C
1232 JA Cochran Bypass, Chester, SC 29706
Part-Time – Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
(2 hours between the hours of 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $150 per pay period
Opportunity to increase to $280 per pay period if also servicing the Lancaster, SC Highway Patrol Troop 4 Post D location (1710 Pageland Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays).

Position: Janitorial/CustodianWhat will you do?
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Conduct detailed floor care such as buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning
- Clean and service restrooms, break rooms, and common areas using proper disinfectants
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively, following all safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness logs and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs to supervisors
- Notify management of deficiencies or needed repairs
- Support general facility upkeep and assist with special or deep-cleaning projects as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations and uphold GreenGuard standards
Who are we looking for?
Candidates who have:
- A completely clean criminal background
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work (commercial or government facilities preferred)
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift (30–50 lbs.), and perform cleaning duties for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
