What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Machine Operator (Salinas, CA) position at GREENGATE FRESH LLLP?
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This position is to be able to run bagger, program, create and complete machine logic. Understand the concept of bag maker and scale system.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up bagger to run specific SKU’s.
- Set up bag codes and printers with proper information.
- Set up label printer with proper information.
- Perform job at a high level with minimum re-work and or bag seal problems.
- Be able to fill out daily reports.
- Required to travel to Yuma/Salinas-(Based on needs and individual performance)

Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 6 Months-1.5 Years
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATION/FORMAL TRAINING:
- High School Diploma/GED
ESSENTIAL ABILITIES:

- Computer Skills (PLUS)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged standing
- May be required to occasionally lift up to 50-80 LBS
- Hand dexterity and strength.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work performed indoors in a climate controlled environment and in a production type facility
