Position Overview:
The AR Chargeback Specialist will be responsible for reconciliation of high-volume customer accounts to resolve payment discrepancies and deductions. Apply analytical skills to review, identify and research deductions to validate for credit or dispute.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with resolving chargeback issues on high volume accounts.
- Work independently and timely to perform research, gather required documentation, dispute, and follow up on chargeback issues.
- Navigate various customer portals to obtain back up documents and submit claims.
- Prepare dispute packages with proper support documents and submit per each customer’s established procedure.
- Support the team to determine recommendations for write offs and recoverable items.
- Communicate with various company departments such us customer service, operations, and sales to review issues for escalation, recommendations, and resolution.
- Maintain proper records and status of claims for AR reviews and meetings.
- Participate in special department projects/initiatives as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or other Business Discipline preferred, but not required.
- 2-4 years relevant Accounts Receivable and chargeback experience.
- Previous experience with accounting / ERP systems.
- Previous experience working with high volume retailers preferred (Amazon, Walmart, Costco, others).
- Intermediate Excell skills required, including formulas, Vlookups and Pivot Tables.
- Multi-tasking, highly organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to spend extended periods of time viewing a PC screenAbility to sit for extended periods of time.
