Job Summary
Under the supervision of the credentialed school nurse, the Health Aide II/LVN is responsible for providing care for students with health and medical needs in a sensitive, patient, and nurturing manner. The LVN will implement the student's individualized health care plan. The LVN will provide a variety of health-related clerical duties. Flexibility in scheduling may be required of the positions to accommodate student and program needs.
Requirements / Qualifications
• High School Diploma or Equivalent • Current LVN License • Current First Aide and CPR Certificate • 1-year experience in health related field preferred, but not required • Ability to operate office machines (copier, printer, and fax) • Ability to follow oral and written directions • Ability to type at least 45 words per minute • Proficient computer skills, sending emails, and ability to use Microsoft Office programs.
