Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) Rehab Director Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Speech Therapy department, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery for all residents.
- Supervise and mentor a team of speech and language pathologists and assistants, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for residents, ensuring optimal outcomes.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of residents’ speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans aimed at improving residents' communication skills, swallowing abilities, and cognitive functions.
- Monitor and evaluate therapy progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure residents' needs are met.
- Foster a positive and supportive work culture, encouraging collaboration and professional development within the therapy team.
- Manage departmental operations, including scheduling, staffing, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide education and training to staff on the latest speech therapy techniques and best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of residents' progress and therapy outcomes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Advocate for residents' needs, ensuring the availability of necessary resources, therapies, and support to enhance their communication, swallowing, and overall well-being.

Qualifications:- Graduate of an accredited school with a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- License as required by the State of Wisconsin to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- 1 years plus clinical experience.
