DUTIES: - Assist teachers in teaching special education students in all aspects of the student day- Work cooperatively in an interdisciplinary setting with staff and students- Work in special education classes and/or general education with special education students - Assist teachers in the implementation of student behavior programs; when needed use CPI for deescalation and for restraints in coordination with other staff members in accordance with district policieswhen school is held in-person- Assist with preparation of classroom environment and materials for special education classes and students- Manage and work with small groups of special education students and 1:1 with students as assigned- Other duties as assignedSALARY: As per Unit C contract starting at $18.40/hour
