Duties
- Perform landscape installation tasks including planting, installing irrigation, hardscapes, and seeding to create a vibrant and beautiful landscape.
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as skid steers, mini skidsteers, power tools, irrigation systems, and snow plowing machinery safely and efficiently
- Install and repair irrigation systems to maintain optimal watering schedules for diverse landscapes
- Execute hardscape projects such as installing pathways, retaining walls, or decorative features to enhance outdoor aesthetics
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all tasks to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
Qualifications
- Prior outdoor work experience or background in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, irrigation systems, and landscaping equipment operation
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively in various outdoor conditions
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to landscaping activities and equipment use
- Excellent physical stamina for tasks such as planting, digging, installing hardscapes, snow plowing, over extended periods of time
- Valid driver’s license is required
