Job Description:
- Assist students ages 3-5 with curriculum and instruction
- Provide support under the direction of the classroom teacher
- Assist with supervision of children at arrival and dismissal
- Assist students with toileting
- Be able to multitask in a classroom environment
- Frequent cleaning and disinfecting of materials/equipment/toys
- Be able to play with students and role model
Job Requirements:
- Works collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Organizes time effectively
- Demonstrates flexibility
- Experience with students ages 3-5
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time; lift and carry 25 lbs.; work at a desk, conference table or in meetings of various configurations; see for the purpose of reading laws and codes, rules and policies and other printed matter; hear and understand speech at normal levels; communicate so others will be able to clearly understand a normal conversation, operate office equipment, and reach in all directions.
