Job Description:
- Develop, supervise, and actively administrate the Greenfield-Central Cheer program.
- Provide instruction, plan, and coordinate practices during the season, during the school year out of season (to include the limited contact periods) and during the summer.
- Work with the Principal and Athletic Department in developing the competition and practice schedule.
Job Requirements:
- Perform all administrative duties as assigned by the Varsity Head Coach and the GCHS administration.
- Maintain knowldege of the sport, coaching techniques and follow the rules of the governing cheer associations.
- Assist in overseeing the security, maintenance and improvement of the cheer facilities and equipment.
- Assist in the yearly evaluations of all aspects of the cheer program.
Job Qualifications:
- Successful coaching experience at the high school level is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrate the ability to successfully lead and work with the student-athletes, parents, fellow coaches, administration and community.
