Summary:
The Patient Experience Coordinator is responsible for analyzing and reporting patient experience metrics from a variety of sources including, but not limited to, patient surveys/comments, focus groups, advisory councils, complaint information, direct observation, and leadership/team member feedback which will serve to build improved patient experiences. The team member will serve as a liaison to various committees, leadership, physicians, and teams to provide insight into potential improvement opportunities. Knowledge of HCAHPS and other patient experience survey instruments is preferred.
The Patient Experience Coordinator will monitor compliance and coordinate the organization’s Grievance system and resolution process. The team member will be responsible for gathering data and information which will be reported to the organization’s Quality department.
It is vital that this team member be capable of good communication skills. Experience with patient advocacy, conflict resolution, and customer service is required.
Requirements:
Associates degree in computer science, business management, or related health care field or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in patient advocacy and customer service desired. Strong computer literacy and software experience – Word, PowerPoint, Excel preferred.
