Teacher / Special Education (Virtual)
The Teacher/Elementary is responsible for teaching TN State Standards and psycho-motor, cognitive, and affective skills to elementary children in the Greeneville City School system. This full time position DOES include benefits.
This role involves delivering individualized instruction, collaborating with families and staff, and ensuring students with diverse learning needs receive high-quality, compliant educational services. While most instruction is virtual, occasional in-person meetings, assessments, or trainings will be required throughout the year.
Prior experience teaching in a virtual or blended learning environment preferred. Applicants must have a current valid educator license with appropriate endorsement. Must have strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Must have satisfactory background/fingerprint checks as required by the Tennessee State Department of Education and state law. Must meet health and physical requirements.
Additional Requirements: Reliable internet connection and appropriate home workspace. Ability to travel for occasional in-person obligations as needed.
