1st Grade Classroom Teacher

Greeneview Elementary (K-3) is searching for a Grade 1 Classroom Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. All students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade are served in a self-contained classroom with pull-out and push-in services for gifted and special education students. 

Applicants must demonstrate: 

• The ability to effectively plan and teach lessons that support and extend the New State Learning Standards and meet the needs of all learners in a self-contained classroom
• The ability to make and carry out long-range instructional and program planning
• An understanding of best practices for quality instruction and student achievement
• The ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate learners with multiple ability levels in the regular classroom and small group settings
• The ability and willingness to work as part of a team of classroom teachers and administrators to plan how to best meet the needs of students
• The ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and teachers
• The ability to keep accurate and thorough records
• A record of consistently managing paperwork and handling work assignments in a timely manner
