About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to create and optimize programs for 3- to 5-axis milling centers and CNC lathes using Mastercam. This role involves fixture and tooling design, troubleshooting, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop CNC programs for milling and lathe operations (Mastercam, G-code).
- Optimize feeds, speeds, and processes for maximum efficiency.
- Design fixtures and custom cutting tools.
- Collaborate with machinists to resolve programming and machine issues.
- Support new equipment onboarding and automation programming (e.g., cobots).
- Lead and mentor CNC programmers; participate in Lean/Six Sigma projects.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; technical degree preferred.
- 8 years CNC programming experience.
- Proficient in Mastercam and G-code (lathe and 4-/5-axis milling).
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining, GD&T, and machine control systems.
- Vericut and SolidWorks experience a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Standing and walking frequently; lifting up to 25 lbs.
