About the Role
We are seeking a creative, organized, and people-centered Advancement Assistant to support our Enrollment, Development, and Marketing & Communications functions, and to serve as the school's primary liaison to the Greene Towne Parents Association (GPA).
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, collaborates easily across teams, and brings warmth and professionalism to everything they do. Core hours are 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with occasional evening or weekend events required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean constituent databases; support data entry and reporting
- Process gifts and prepare donor acknowledgment letters
- Create graphic design and digital content for campaigns, events, and communications
- Support enrollment through family welcome meetings, orientations, and events
- Serve as the staff liaison to the GPA, supporting parent-led initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or a related field
- 2 years in advancement, development, admissions, or marketing — school or nonprofit experience preferred
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar) and video/photo editing
- Experience with CRM or constituent database systems
- Strong written communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Warm, professional interpersonal presence and comfort in community-facing roles
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Enthusiasm for Montessori or progressive education is a plus
