Housekeeper (Floors)
We are currently seeking a Housekeeper/Floors to join our amazing team. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for an entry-level position in long-term care. Our environmental service department is the best in the area!
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform daily cleaning assignments while following established policies and procedures
- Properly use and store cleaning supplies for each job as instructed
- Floor cleaning will be your main duty. Floor cleaning, waxing & stripping.
- Report any unsafe or broken equipment and complete work orders as needed
- Assist with deep cleaning projects as assigned
- Replenish personal care supplies and assist residents with maintaining the cleanliness of their rooms
- Support the laundry department as needed
- Collect and dispose of hazardous waste and rubbish in accordance with safety precautions and infection control guidelines
- Maintain the organization of the work area and the cart
- Assisting with Laundry as needed per the Department Supervisor
Days/Hours:
Full-Time, weekdays 11 am - 7 pm.
Every other weekend rotation work is required (7 am – 3 pm).
