We’re growing and looking for a detail-driven Production Coordinator to support day-to-day manufacturing operations and ensure smooth workflow throughout our facility.
Position Overview
The Production Coordinator plays a critical role in scheduling, material flow, production tracking, and communication between departments. This position requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and experience working with ERP systems — specifically Fulcrum ERP.
You will work closely with production, purchasing, engineering, and shipping teams to help ensure on-time delivery and efficient shop operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and manage daily and weekly production schedules
- Enter and maintain work orders, production data, and routing details in Fulcrum ERP
- Coordinate material availability and monitor inventory levels
- Track progress of jobs on the shop floor and communicate updates to production leads and management
- Support quality checks and ensure product specs and deadlines are met
- Identify potential schedule conflicts, bottlenecks, or shortages and propose solutions
- Generate production reports, inventory summaries, and schedule updates
- Assist with workflow optimization and continuous-improvement initiatives
- Communicate with sales and customer service regarding lead times and order status
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in production coordination, manufacturing scheduling, or similar role
- Fulcrum ERP experience required (or equivalent ERP/MRP system)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple departments
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory flow, and basic quality standards
- Proficient with computers, spreadsheets, and production documentation
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven manufacturing environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
