We are currently seeking an Audit Manager for our Charleston, SC office. In this role, you will lead and manage multiple audit engagements, supervise and mentor seniors and staff, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients. You will be responsible for ensuring engagements are completed efficiently and on schedule, keeping partners and team members informed of status and key issues, and maintaining a high standard of client service.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated and a strong team player with prior supervisory experience. The ability to manage multiple priorities while developing staff and maintaining strong client relationships is essential.
Requirements include:
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-Related field
- CPA or CPA track
- 5-8 years of experience in a public accounting audit role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and paperless financial audit software, and the ability to quickly learn new technology
- Experience auditing governments and/or nonprofits is strongly preferred
