Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup, assembly, and movement of materials and equipment on the production floor
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to transport raw materials, finished products, or equipment as needed
- Follow strict safety standards in production environments, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Support manufacturing processes by cleaning work areas, organizing supplies, and preparing materials for production runs
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and tools to ensure mechanical functionality and safety compliance
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines to maintain product quality and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals efficiently while maintaining a safe workspace
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with machinery is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout shifts
- Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus
- Knowledge of safety standards in production settings, including PPE use and hazard awareness
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts
