What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Coordinator position at GREENE COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER?
- Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
- Benefits eligible, PTO, IPERS
- Oversee the overall functioning of the laboratory, including managing workflow, scheduling staff, and ensuring timely completion of tests and procedures.
- Coordinator will keep the laboratory running efficiently by developing and implementing quality control programs and preparing reports.
- The coordinator will handle administrative tasks, maintain inventory and assist onboarding and training new employees.
- Required: Associate's Degree (two-year college) bachelor's degree (four-year college or university) preferred, or commensurate experience
- Required: two to four years' supervisory experience
- Required: Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Products
- Required: MLT-ASCP
- Required: MT-ASCP; CLS-HHS; MLS; ASCP or equivalent nationally recognized laboratory certification
