We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a skilled and compassionate Food Service Professional to join our team at Windsor of Savoy, Illinois. As a food service professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and serve meals and snacks to residents and guests in a timely manner.
- Assist with food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Develop strong relationships with residents and colleagues, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be at least 16 years old. Food Handler Certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Physical & Mental Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive motions. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment.
- Must be able to pass preemployment screening.
Benefit Eligibility: This role is part-time (under 40 hours per pay period) and includes limited benefits.
