Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor licensed nurses and nursing assistants.
- Coordinate daily staffing needs and assist with scheduling.
- Monitor resident health status and ensure timely follow-up on changes in condition.
- Support the admission process, care planning, transfers, and discharges.
- Maintain compliance with state regulations, infection prevention standards, and community policies.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness while promoting regulatory readiness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.
- Provide education, coaching, and ongoing support to nursing team members.
- Assist with direct resident care whenever operational needs require.
- Promote open communication and a positive team culture focused on exceptional resident experiences.

Preferred Qualifications Include
- Current Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
- Three or more years of nursing experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or assisted living.
- Previous experience supervising or leading healthcare staff is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of long-term care regulations and quality assurance practices.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call leadership rotation.
- A genuine commitment to serving older adults with dignity, compassion, and respect.
